Case Study: Fire-Engineered Protection for Western Sydney Airport

23 September 2026

Western Sydney Airport’s Border Security storage sheds required a robust, fire-engineered separation wall capable of achieving an FRL of -120/120 in a demanding infrastructure environment. FIREFLY developed a tailored passive fire protection strategy for a 9.5-metre-high wall extending more than 100 metres, addressing complex structural penetrations, façade interfaces and head-of-wall conditions.
