Scott began his career as a cadet building certifier in northern NSW and entered the passive fire industry in 2015. He earned his QBCC Passive certification for inspection and testing of fire collars, penetrations, and fire-rated joint sealing. After two years with Hendry Group conducting property inspections, Scott moved into contracting with A1 Passive Fire, where he progressed from certifier to General Manager over five years. He then spent a brief period in active fire before joining BJS Group as a passive fire certifier for nearly three years.
With over a decade of experience in construction, Scott has worked on a broad range of projects, including townhouses, duplexes, multi-story apartment buildings, commercial offices, data centres, and defence projects.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys playing golf, watching football, and relaxing with a cold beer on the weekend.
