FIREFLYStrap is a high-pressure intumescent wrap supplied as a 25m continuous roll and can be easily cut to the required length using a long-bladed Stanley knife.
Used within assessed FIREFLY fire-stopping systems, FIREFLYStrap is installed around selected services at fire-rated penetrations where local intumescent protection is required. Under fire conditions, it expands to help maintain the integrity of the penetration seal in applications where gaps may form as combustible materials, insulation or service components break down.
Suitable for a range of plastic pipe, insulated pipework, mechanical service and combined service penetration applications, FIREFLYStrap provides a simple and versatile local protection solution within assessed FIREFLY systems.
