Introducing T1 and T2 | FIREFLY’s retrofit floorwaste “termination” kits (otherwise affectionately referred to as Terminator 1 and Terminator 2)

Available in two configurations, these retrofit floorwaste kits are designed to simply and effectively restore fire protection in areas with non-rated, incorrect, or damaged cast-in fire collars. Tested to AS1530.4 and assessed to AS4072.1 standards, they deliver an impressive FRL of up to -/180/180, offering a low-profile, high-performance solution for safety restoration.

Each kit includes a floorwaste collar and a floorwaste adaptor plate.

Configurations

T1 – Suitable for DN100 uPVC pipes (OD up to 115 mm, wall thickness up to 4.5 mm)

T2 – Suitable for DN50 uPVC pipes (OD up to 60 mm, wall thickness up to 3 mm).

Dimensions

50 mm pipe collar – only 27 mm high

100 mm pipe collar – only 38 mm high

Brief guidelines to install the collar

1. Select the required floorwaste kit required for the pipe size.
2. Cover the base of the existing collar or pipe rocket with the floorwaste collar adaptor plate and fix to the underside of the concrete slab.
3. Install the floorwaste collar over the floorwaste collar adaptor plate.
4. Fix the floorwaste collar directly into the concrete slab through the provided collar tabs and the holes in the floorwaste collar adaptor plate.
5. Seal any visible gaps between the floorwaste collar adaptor alate and the concrete soffit using FIREFLYMastic.
